Welcome to MedPulse AI. By accessing or using the MedPulse AI healthcare management platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using MedPulse AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MedPulse AI is an AI-powered healthcare management platform that provides:

• Online appointment booking and scheduling with verified healthcare professionals.
• AI-powered symptom triage and pre-visit health assessments using Google Gemini.
• Prescription management with AI-generated medication insights and watermarked PDF ticket generation.
• Google Calendar synchronization for appointment management.
• Automated email notifications for appointments, reminders, and medication alerts.
• Administrative tools for healthcare facility management, including roster reassignments, leave approvals, and clinical governance audits.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Users may register as patients, doctors (subject to admin verification), or administrators.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Provide false or misleading health information.
• Impersonate any person or entity, including healthcare professionals.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.

6. Google Calendar Integration

When you connect your Google Calendar to MedPulse AI:

• You authorize us to create, update, and delete appointment events in your Google Calendar.
• We only interact with events created by MedPulse AI and do not access other calendar data.
• You may revoke this access at any time through your account settings or Google Account permissions.
• Calendar integration is optional and the Service functions fully without it.

7. Healthcare Provider Terms

Doctors using MedPulse AI agree to:

• Provide accurate professional credentials for verification.
• Maintain appropriate medical licenses and certifications.
• Manage appointment availability and schedules responsibly.
• Follow applicable healthcare regulations and standards of care.
• Scheduling Accountability & Demerit Rules: Doctors agree that cancellations of confirmed appointments are subject to system-calculated demerit points based on patient triage urgency and cancellation reasons evaluated by Gemini AI. Accumulating ten (10) demerit points results in automatic system-wide suspension of the doctor's profile.
• Administrative Controls: Administrators reserve the right to resolve schedule requests, leave requests, and manually reassign appointments to other specialists. Reassigned appointments cannot be cancelled by the substitute doctor. Overdue appointments (unstarted 2 hours past the slot end time) will be automatically cancelled by the system, incurring a 5 demerit penalty.
• Directives Compliance: Doctors agree to regularly review and acknowledge administrative directives (URGENT, IMPORTANT, ROUTINE) dispatched to their Directives Inboxes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of MedPulse AI — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and AI models — are owned by MedPulse AI and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• MedPulse AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated health assessments.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• We are not responsible for any medical decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
